How sessions are delivered
I offer face to face counselling in Coventry (CV3), or online sessions via Zoom. Sessions are always client-led, you will be listened to and know you are heard, confidentially* and non-judgementally.
Each session is 60 minutes, and offered as regular weekly sessions, usually a minimum of eight.
I also like to work creatively with my clients whenever appropriate and helpful, eg through art, the use of tactile objects/materials, therapy cards, or fairytale work (etc).
* According to BACP ethical practice guidelines.

Sometimes, emotionally, we can become ‘stuck’ with troublesome thoughts
and behaviours which can impact our lives in unhelpful ways.
Working together with you
I will work together with you to find the areas in which you might like to grow and/or see and feel changes.
We can often experience troublesome emotions that impact our lives and find we need help in managing those emotions and any resulting unhealthy behaviours.
Anxiety Relief Techniques
Clients sometimes benefit from being introduced to certain CBT techniques and strategies, that can help them cope with and reduce overwhelming anxiety/stress effectively.
Empowering Practical Strategies
Together, we can work towards empowering solutions for aspects of your life where you might feel out of control, confused, hurt, fearful or stuck.
Relationships
Maybe certain relationships are a struggle, exhausting even, and you are feeling at a loss in how to change that.
Fees:
£45 per hour
(Payable in advance of each session)
With experience in working with clients from many different life situations and diverse backgrounds, including clients who have suffered emotional trauma; clients who are impacted by a loved-one’s addiction; clients with (diagnosed or undiagnosed) autism and clients living with the impact of a Narcissistic parent or life partner.
There are many reasons clients might come for counselling, do get in touch to discuss your particular needs.
An assessment is necessary to check (for both you and I) that my own skill base would be a good fit for you, and if that happens not to be the case, then I will endeavour to recommend another counsellor who might be better suited to your needs.
